Should I request "trickle ventilators" if I am having old windows replaced?
Yes. Generally, old windows are replaced because they are "leaky" and inefficient. Old "leaky" windows have built-in "trickle ventilation". Typically, replacement windows are built very tight. So, with new tight replacement windows, air circulation is virtually eliminated which may create condensation to occur that wasn't there before.
