Double Trouble at the 10th HVR Awards
We are excited to announce that we are finalists in no less than TWO categories at the HVR Awards in London later this month!
Firstly, our HRV20 HE Q Plus MVHR unit is a finalist in the ‘Commercial/Industrial Ventilation Product of the Year’ category.
The new continuously running whole-house ventilation unit with heat recovery has been specifically designed to expand our current HRV range by offering airflows of up to 178 l/s (640m3/h). It combines extremely low power consumption and a highly efficient heat exchanger (92%) specifically designed to enhance SAP performance via Appendix Q, and can be incorporated into larger apartments or dwellings.
Secondly, Titon UK is a finalist in the ‘Community Spirit Award’ for our new ‘Cleaner and Greener’ scheme.
This is an employee led initiative within the business sites to encourage more environmentally friendly actions by employees and the Company. Employees are encouraged to attend regular meetings and propose ideas and suggest improvements to the working environment.
This initiative has so far led to a huge increase in the volume and variety of recycling across the sites, switching to LED lighting, introducing a ‘no idling’ goal and taking part in UK wide awareness schemes such as ‘Clean Air Day‘ amongst many other improvements and with more transformations to come.
The HVR awards, now in their 10th year, have been championing innovation, excellence and achievement across the heating and ventilating industry. From outstanding technological developments to unrivalled service and individual contributions, the awards features an array of categories that honour achievements from all corners of the heating and ventilating industry.
The awards ceremony takes place on Thursday 24th October at the Tower Hotel in London. For tickets and more Awards information, please visit the HVR Awards website.
