Production Operative - Paint Plant

Role Description
Titon is currently seeking a reliable and adaptable Production Operative to join our manufacturing team. While this role requires flexibility to work across all areas of the factory and wider production environment, the immediate requirement is within our Paint Plant.
The primary aim of Paint Plant is to prepare and powder paint a variety of surfaces including steel, aluminium and other shop coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories as well as other surfaces as specified. Apply protective powder coatings to items such as window and door fittings, along with ventilation system parts.
Job Description
Core Accountabilities:
- Following health and safety guidelines in order to keep themselves and their colleagues safe.
- Loading items onto conveyor/jigging up/hand spray.
- Examining products to ensure they meet the required standards and maintain high quality.
- Ensuring correct procedures are followed when operating machines in line with health and safety.
- Immediately raising quality concerns to line management to ensure that it can be rectified quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure all products meet the required standards.
- An ability to work to process.
- Hand spray and auto booth process to understand.
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable.
- Quick learner.
- Good timekeeping skills.
- Able to understand basic health and safety.
- Previous knowledge of powder coating is a benefit.
