Smart Solution Finalist at the London Construction Awards
Our HRV20 HE Q Plus MVHR unit is a finalist in the ‘Smart Technology/Solution of the Year Award’ category in the 2019 London Construction Awards.
The innovative and energy efficient HRV20 HE Q Plus was added to our extensive range of MVHR products earlier this year. This new continuously running whole house ventilation unit with heat recovery has been designed to offer increased airflows of up to 178 l/s (640m3/h) at 100 Pa, making it the biggest and most powerful MVHR unit we have ever produced.
There are two different models of the HRV20 HE Q Plus available – the Eco HMB and the Eco B – each boasting a 100% airflow diverting Summer Bypass, as recognised in the UK Product Characteristics Database. Intelligent humidity options are available, while all models accept 200mm ducting, ensuring a reduction in velocity and noise. Compatibility with this type of ducting also allows for units to be fitted in light commercial applications, as well as residential environments.
The Eco HMB is fitted with the new aura-t™ touchscreen controller, which is integrated as part of the unit itself as standard. The B model is compatible with the Eco aura range of controls (auralite® status indicator, aura-t™, auramode® and aurastat® controllers), or has the option of having an integrated aura-t™ unit.
The aura-t™ is a simple yet striking, backlit touchscreen controller with programming, commissioning and occupancy control functions specifically designed for Titon’s range of MHVR units. It allows for straightforward operation of four ventilation speeds to reduce overheating, while offering innovative features such as an auto-timed speed mode, internal humidity setpoint adjustment and a filter change indicator. In addition, an inhibitor function prevents night time boosting via either switch inputs or humidity.
Having such a wealth of innovative control options, without compromising on energy efficiency, makes this unit ideal for architects, contractors and mechanical engineers alike.
The awards will be taking place on Wednesday 27th November in London. To book tickets or for more Awards information, please visit the Awards website.
