Timber Works is part of a calibration between Cambridge City Council and Hill Investment Partnership. They both combined to form the Cambridge Investment Partnership (CIP) whose aim is to develop affordable housing in the heart of Cambridge.

The development’s name stems from the land’s history. It was once home to Ridgeon’s Timber, a family run business where logs were sawn, cut and stored for almost 80 years. CIP will help create a vibrant community upon this tremendous industrial heritage, with solid foundations for future growth. AJM is incredibly proud to be playing a role in the completion of this superb new location, designing and installing mechanical services.

The Titon FireSafe® Air Brick is a specialist product developed and manufactured to offer low resistance to airflow, and high resistance to fire, as set out in Approved Document B (fire safety) volume 1: Dwellings, 2019 edition.

The Titon FireSafe® Air Brick is designed and tested to BS EN13141-2:2010 specifically for mechanical ventilation systems. Made from 1mm electrogalvanized sheet steel, fire class A1 ‘no contribution to fire’ and polyester powder coating meeting EN13501-1 classification A2-s1,d0. The Titon FireSafe® Air Brick is ideal for fire safety applications.
